Bio

Alison Crumb enters her 14th year as head coach at Peninsula College, where she has built a destination program for women’s community college basketball. Coach Crumb has qualified for the NWAC Basketball Championship Tournament 12 straight years. In 2015, Coach Crumb and the Pirates won the College’s second North Division Championship to qualify to the NWAC tournament as a No. 1 seed, where the Pirates soared past the competition to win Peninsula’s first-ever NWAC Women’s Basketball Championship with an overall record of 24-4. She guided her Pirates on championship runs in 2016, 2022 and 2023, falling just short all three years with second place and third place finishes. Coach Crumb has also had an outstanding track record of moving her players on to the next level. A Port Angeles native, she began her college playing and coaching career following an outstanding career as a Port Angeles Roughrider. She then led the Pirates to Peninsula’s first division championship in women’s basketball in 2005, when she set a school record for assists. She went on to play at Western Oregon University where she got her bachelor’s degree in English literature. She returned to Peninsula as an assistant coach and was then promoted to the head coaching position in 2009. She has a master’s degree in educational leadership.
